Very good price for an 8GB drive

The drive was just as good as the ones you pay a lot more for in a store. As long as it backs up your data, why pay more?

great drive with one problem

This is a great thumb drive. Very small and a good value for the money. The only problem I have with it is the cap is not attached. This makes it easy to lose. Other than that though, it's perfect, although I wouldn't mind having it in a brighter color, so it would be easier to find on a dark desk.

Works good so far

Title says it all. It's a memory stick, if it holds info then it works.

For many years I used floppy discs to store my work in progress. I remember, years ago, mentioning many times to the people in my office the importance of backing up ones work. On one occasion the entire organization came down with a computer virus and lost all their files. I still had my floppies.

Recently, before backing up my files, my computer died. It was totally unexpected, as are most true accidents. Like the folks I goaded, I lost my files due solely to my failure to perform the simple action of saving them on a device not connected to my computer.

Anyway, I had heard about "flash drives" and finally decided to try one. I am very happy with this HP 4 GB drive. I transferred my few remaining completed written files to this drive in a few seconds. Now I save my work to this drive while it is in progress.

This Flash Drive is excellent. I recommend this product.
